At the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno, we have been defending against Sherman DL suspension for over 20 years. If you have been mailed a Notice of Suspension from the Texas Department of Public Safety, then your driver's license has been set for imminent suspension. If you are looking for a way to challenge your Sherman DL suspension, which may be a consequence of too many traffic violations, physician recommendation, or even Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), consider contacting our law firm. We know what it takes to challenge DL suspension in the Grayson County Justice of the Peace Court, and may be able to seek a temporary driver's license (ODL) on your behalf if your regular driver's license has already been suspended. For additional information, please fill out our DL Suspension Contact Form.
DL holders whose driver's licenses have been designated for suspension will be made aware of this by the Department of Public Safety, who will mail affected motorists a Notice of Suspension beforehand. This DL suspension notice will allow its recipient 20 calendar days to respond by requesting a Sherman DL Suspension Hearing with DPS. If Jack Byno & Associates are hired to defend against the suspension of your driver's license at your scheduled DL suspension hearing, which will be held in the Grayson County Justice Court, we can try to get your suspension overruled so that you may continue to drive legally. Has your driver's licenses already been suspended for failure to respond to a DL suspension notice, or for reasons including traffic violations committed in the City of Sherman, DWI convictions, or No Insurance Convictions? Our law firm may be able to seek you a temporary driver's license, referred to as an Occupational Driver's License or Essential Need License. For clients who do not understand the reasons behind their DL suspension, our law office may recommend that they have a look at their Texas Driving Record.
No matter if your driver's license has been suspended by DPS because of traffic offenses you have committed previously in Sherman, or for reasons including unpaid State Surcharges, the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno may be able to obtain you an Occupational Driver's License (ODL). An ODL or Essential Need License, if granted to you, would serve as a temporary DL for the duration of your Sherman DL suspension, and would permit you to legally transport yourself to your job, school functions and other locations important to your daily life.
If you are interested in having our law firm seek an Occupational Driver's License on your behalf, you may first be required to provide us with certain information, including your driver's license number, a copy of your Texas driving record, and proof that you hold valid auto insurance. Because Jack Byno & Associates have been seeking and obtaining ODLs for clients facing Sherman DL suspension since 1994, there is a good chance that we would be able to do the same for you, no matter what class DL you hold. If you are granted an ODL, you would be required to follow certain driving restrictions attached to it, including when and where you are allowed to drive. Failure to abide by these rules can lead to a Driving While License Invalid (DWLI) charge, which can in turn lead to hefty court fines, jail time and even extended DL suspension.
Because Jack Byno & Associates have a 20-year history of defending against Sherman DL suspension on behalf of clients, it may be in your best interest to consider hiring us for the same service, if the Department of Public Safety has mailed you a Notice of Suspension. For drivers who are struggling to make it through a DL suspension without a legal means of transportation, our law firm may be able to seek an Essential Need License (ODL) on their behalf, so that they may continue to drive even while their regular license is suspended. Would you like additional information on Sherman DL suspension, DPS-issued suspension notices, and DL suspension hearings? Please complete our DL Suspension Contact Form or call the law office at 817-685-0912.
