Has the Texas Department of Public Safety mailed you a Notice of Suspension? This notice is meant to inform you that your driver's license has been designated for suspension over traffic offenses committed in the City of Ennis. Common reasons behind DL suspension include habitual violations, DWI, unpaid State Surcharges, No Insurance convictions and medical revocation. If you want to challenge your Ennis DL suspension, you may want to seek legal assistance from the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno. We have been disputing DL suspension on behalf of our clients for more than 20 years, and so possess the experience and expertise you need to successfully dispute yours. An Occupational Driver's License may be sought for you as well, if your driver's license has already been suspended. For more information on Ennis DL Suspension, please complete our DL Suspension Contact Form.
If outstanding Ennis traffic tickets or other traffic-related violations, such as No Insurance convictions or drunk driving charges, have caught up to you, your driver's license is in danger of suspension. You will be made aware of a looming DL suspension, because the Department of Public Safety will mail you a Notice of Suspension informing you that you have 20 calendar days to respond. During these 20 calendar days, you may decide to request an Ennis DL Suspension Hearing, at which your DL suspension may be disputed. If you are planning to challenge your DL suspension in court, consider retaining the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno to defend you. We have been defending clients up against Ennis DL suspension in the Ellis County Justice Court since 1994, and may be able to help you challenge your suspension as well. If your driver's license has already been suspended, we may be able to seek you an Occupational Driver's License (ODL). Drivers who do not know why their DLs have been set for suspension may want to request a copy of their driving record.
No matter why your driver's license has been suspended, for traffic-related reasons spanning from too many Ennis speeding tickets to more serious crimes, such as drunk driving, you are not necessarily out of options when it comes to staying behind the wheel legally. A temporary license known as an Occupational Driver's License (ODL), or Essential Need License, may be sought on your behalf so that you may still have access to work and school.
In order for our law office to seek an Occupational Driver's License (ODL) on your behalf, so that you may be permitted to drive to the places necessary to daily life, we would first require certain information from you. We may ask for a copy of your Texas Driving Record, your driver's license number and proof that you hold valid car insurance. In the instance that Jack Byno & Associates are able to acquire you an Essential Need License, you must be prepared to abide by any driving rules attached to it. Rules may encompass when and where you are allowed to drive to. If you fail to follow restrictions attached to your ODL, and are pulled over by a police officer, you may have to face the consequences of Driving While License Invalid (DWLI). A DWLI charge should be avoided at all times while you hold an ODL, as penalties associated with it include arrest, prolonged Ennis driver's license suspension and court fines.
Have you received a Notice of Suspension from the Texas Department of Public Safety? There is no reason to panic upon receiving an Ennis DL Suspension notice, when you may instead contact the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno. If retained to appear on your behalf at your scheduled Ennis DL Suspension Hearing, our law firm will do its best to defend you and your driver's license, but in the case that your DL has already been suspended and deemed invalid, we may be able to acquire you an ODL. Would you like additional information on Ennis DL suspension, DL suspension hearings, or a Notice of Suspension issued to you by Texas DPS?
