To qualify for an ODL you must not have a Class A Commercial Driver's License or have two or more DWI convictions on your driving record. If you are granted an ODL you must comply with the limitations listed by the Judge. For instance you may use an ODL to drive to the doctor, to and from work, take your child to school or to a school function. When applying for an ODL in a Denton County court you must provide our office with an SR-22 from your insurance company, a list of the Counties you must drive in to go to an "essential" location, a copy of your driver's license with the audit number and the required Court fees.
