Be aware that if the Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas DPS) mails you a notice concerning the imminent suspension of your driver's license, you will have a certain amount of days to respond. If you do not respond within the time frame allotted to you and request a DL suspension hearing with Texas DPS, your DL will be suspended. Consider retaining the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno if you are afraid that your driver's license will soon be suspended because of traffic offenses committed in the City of Cleburne, Texas. Even if you are up against DL suspension for other reasons, such as medical revocation, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or even unpaid State Surcharges, our law firm may be able to defend you at a DL suspension hearing held in the Johnson County Justice of the Peace Court. For clients whose DLs have already been suspended, Jack Byno & Associates may be hired to seek a temporary, Occupational Driver's License (ODL) on their behalf. For additional information on Cleburne DL suspension, please fill out our DL Suspension Contact Form.
You will have only 20 calendar days to respond to a DL suspension notice mailed to you by DPS if your driver's license is in danger of suspension. If you are able to request a Cleburne DL suspension hearing, and one is granted to you, also consider hiring Jack Byno & Associates for legal defense. Because we have been practicing Texas traffic law since 1994, and have previously defended motorists up against DL suspension in Cleburne, we may be able to do the same for you. In many instances, when hired to represent clients in the Johnson County Justice Court, we are able to appear on behalf of our clients. Are you unsure as to the reasons behind the suspension of your driver's license? You may request a copy of your Texas Driving Record, as it may hold the answers you are looking for.
Your driver's license may be suspended for a number of reasons, from habitual Cleburne traffic violations to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) convictions. No matter the original cause behind the suspension of your driver's license, Jack Byno & Associates may be able to seek you a temporary DL known as an Occuaptional Driver's License (ODL). An ODL would allow you legal, although restricted, access to school, work and other places you can't do without in day-to-day life.
Do you think you would benefit from an Occupational Driver's License? If your regular driver's license has been suspended by DPS, there is a chance that our law firm may be able to apply for an ODL on your behalf. Before we can do this, however, we may ask you for particular information first. We may ask for, among other information, your driver's license number, proof that you hold car insurance, and a copy of your driving record. If an ODL is granted for you to use for the duration of your Cleburne suspension, please be advised that it will come with certain driving restrictions. These restrictions may include when and where you are allowed to drive. In the case that a police officer determines that you have failed to abide by these restrictions, you may be charged with Driving While License Invalid (DWLI). DWLI is serious and can lead to your arrest, high court fines and prolonged DL suspension.
It would be in your best interest to contact the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno as soon as you realize that DPS has sent a Notice of Suspension to your address, especially if there is a chance that we may be able to challenge the suspension of your driver's license in court. But if you have not responded to a Cleburne DL suspension notice mailed to you and your driver's license has already been suspended, you are not necessarily beyond the bounds of legal service provided by our law firm. We may be able to seek an Essential Need License (ODL) on your behalf. Are you looking for more information on DL suspension notices, ODLs, DL suspension hearings or Cleburne DL suspension in general? Please complete our DL Suspension Contact Form or contact us at 817-685-0912.
