Jack Byno & Associates have been defending against Chandler DL suspension in the Henderson County Justice of the Peace Court since 1994. If the Department of Public Safety has designated your driver's license for suspension, there may be a variety of possible causes, including habitual Chandler traffic violations, driving without auto insurance, failure to pay State Surcharges, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and medical revocation. No matter the actual reason behind your DL suspension, if DPS mails you a Notice of Suspension, you will have a certain amount of days to reply before your driver's license is suspended. Consider hiring our law firm to challenge your DL suspension at your Henderson County DL Suspension Hearing, or to seek you an Occupational Driver's License (ODL) for the entirety of your DL suspension. Would you like more information on driver's license suspension? Please call our law office or complete our DL Suspension Contact Form.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas DPS) will mail you a Notice of Suspension if your driver's license is in danger of suspension. If you are mailed a DL suspension notice because of minor or major Chandler traffic violations on your driving record, you will have only 20 days to request a DL suspension hearing with DPS. If you do not respond to this notice before the date specified, your driver's license will be suspended. If you do decide to request a DL suspension hearing, consider retaining the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno to defend you. If we are retained to represent you at your scheduled hearing, which will be held at the Henderson County Justice Court, we will do our best to get your DL suspension overruled. Because you are our client, you may not even have to appear in court with us.
Sometimes it is too late for our law firm to dispute Chandler DL suspension in the Henderson County JP Court, as clients' driver's licenses may already be suspended. Even if your driver's license has already been suspended, whether because you have not responded to a DPS Notice of Suspension, or for reasons including too many Chandler traffic violations, our law firm may be able to acquire you an Occupational Driver's License (ODL), or Essential Need License. An ODL is a temporary DL that would allow you to drive yourself to certain locations, such as school and work.
In the case that your driver's license has been suspended, you may want for our law firm to seek on your behalf an Occupational Driver's License, so that you may still get to the places you cannot do without. Please be aware that we may ask you to provide us with certain information before we can apply for an ODL on your behalf. This information may include your driver's license number, a copy of your Texas Driving Record and proof that you hold valid car insurance. If you are granted an ODL, you must follow all Texas driving laws as well as any ODL restrictions attached to your Essential Need License at all times. Failure to follow these restrictions can bring about a Driving While License Invalid (DWLI) charge, which can result in costly court fines, prolonged Chandler DL suspension and sometimes even arrest.
As soon as the Texas Department of Public Safety informs you that your driver's license is set for suspension, over Chandler traffic offenses or related reasons, consider retaining the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno. We may be able to challenge your Chandler DL suspension at your DL suspension hearing in the Henderson County Justice Court, or seek you an Occupational Driver's License (ODL) if your regular DL has already been suspended. For additional information on DL suspension notices, hearings and temporary driver's licenses, please fill out our DL Suspension Contact Form or give us a call at 817-685-0912.
