BURLESON DL SUSPENSION ATTORNEY
If your driver's license faces imminent suspension, you will be informed beforehand, as the Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas DPS) will send you a Notice of Suspension in the mail. You will have a limited amount of time to request a DL suspension hearing with DPS, and to request legal defense from the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno, upon receiving this DL suspension notice. It does not matter to our law office the reasons behind your looming DL suspension, which are not limited to habitual Burleson traffic violations, driving without car insurance (No Insurance convictions), medical revocation at the recommendation of a physician, or even Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). We may still be retained to represent you at your DL suspension hearing in the Johnson County Justice Court. Or we may be hired to seek you an Occupational Driver's License if your regular DL has been suspended already. Burleson DL Suspension Notice
Are you afraid that traffic offenses you have previously committed in the City of Burleson will soon catch up to you? If you are worried that habitual Burleson traffic violations on your driving record will prompt the Texas Department of Public Safety to mail you a Notice of Suspension, do not waste time in getting touch with the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno. You will be allotted only 20 calendar days to do this, as well as to request a DL suspension hearing with Texas DPS. If granted to you, this hearing will be held in the Johnson County Justice of the Peace Court, where our DL defense attorneys may attempt to challenge the suspension of your driver's license. In many Burleson DL suspension cases we have previously been involved in, our clients are not required to appear in the JP court with us.
Burleson DL Suspension-Seeking ODL
Whether your driver's license has been suspended because of minor Burleson traffic violations, such as too many speeding tickets, or for major convictions, such as Driving While Intoxicated, our law firm may be able to seek an Occupational Driver's License (ODL) on your behalf. An Occupational Driver's License, or Essential Need License, is a temporary DL that would allow you to drive to certain locations, such as work and the store, while your regular driver's license is still suspended.
If you are interested in retaining our law firm to apply for an Essential Need License (ODL) on your behalf, we may first require certain information from you. We may ask you to provide us with a copy of your Texas Driving Record, your driver's license number and proof that you have valid car insurance, among other details. While we may be successful in our efforts to obtain you an Occupational Driver's License, it is up to you to remember that your ODL is a privilege, and to abide by any and all driving restrictions that may come with it. These driving restrictions often include where and at what times of the day you are allowed to drive. Failure to follow these restrictions may lead to Driving While License Invalid (DWLI) charges, which in turn may result in a longer Burleson DL suspension, incarceration, and hefty court fines.
